Our Story
Greytown Honey is a family business producing the very highest quality Mānuka, Wildflower, Kāmahi, Kānuka, Rewarewa, Native and Clover honey, straight from the land, in South Wairarapa. You could say beekeeping is in our blood as we are fifth generation beekeepers!
We are hugely grateful to have developed strong partnerships with local landowners who allow us to place our beehives on untouched native bush sites and special farmland throughout the beautiful Wairarapa region. We are also very grateful to our loyal and growing customers from near and far. Growing this sustainable operation and enabling returns to both landowners and the community beyond is something we are very focused on.
Once harvested, our premium honey is tested to ensure it meets the definition applicable for exported honey. We also complete additional testing for MGO, DHA and NPA (which is commonly converted into a UMF) content then packaged into beautiful glass jars to preserve this natural and pure product. From our purpose-built processing
You can rest assured that all our honey is traceable from individual sites and only the very best product makes it through our tough testing and control regime.
