What we do know is that we have over 3000 plants in the ground and therefore there'll be plenty of tubers for everyone when the time comes - probably in May, but we'll hold shipping them until closer to spring to ensure they winter well.

The best way to keep in the know as to when our tuber sale will happen is to follow our social media - either through the Greytown Flower Farm or through Greytown Honey.

We're slowly adding to our website all of the photos of the varieties we'll have available this season and the pricing so you'll know when the time comes just what you need. Like other years there probably wont be an option to come and purchase tubers from our shop as they do tend to sell pretty quickly online but we'll keep a few for tuber cuttings closer to October that may be available from the physical Greytown Honey store.

How to look after Tubers when they arrive:

Once your tuber arrives with you - all responsibility is shifted onto you as we can't control the environment you store, grow or keep them in. If you're worried about how a tuber looks when it arrives, be sure to get in touch with us immediately so we can work with you to find a solution.

Depending on when they arrive - what they'll love is to be put either straight in the ground, placement is everything when it comes to dahlias so remember - they love lots of sun, hate wet feet and need to be in free draining and they burn in the frosts so make sure they're well protected. If you can't plant them in a spot that meets these requirements pop them into some damp (but not wet) soil in a sheltered spot until you're ready to plant out.

//greytownhoney.co.nz/cdn/shop/collections/362236622_3621369624764178_8894487009223704212_n_1.jpg?v=1744675663"}}]
